Dr. Ashley Sikand is a physician and partner at Ear, Nose, and Throat Consultants of Nevada. He is board certified in the specialty of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada).
He began his college and medical education at the University of Alberta. Dr. Sikand completed his residency training at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He served his fellowship at the renowned California Ear Institute at Stanford. In addition, Dr. Sikand was also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Since his arrival in 1996, Dr. Sikand has applied his expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, microscopic ear surgery, and cochlear implant surgery to the practice. He has pioneered many surgical procedures including techniques for skull base tumor surgery and repair, working often with neurosurgical colleagues. Dr. Sikand is a member of the American Neurotology Society (ear and skull base surgery).
Presently, Dr. Ashley Sikand is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct Faculty) at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has served as a consultant for top medical technology companies in the field such as Stryker Instruments, Acclarent Inc., and Zeiss Microscopes.
Currently, he is a consultant for Entellus Medical (now a part of Stryker), a company that is focused on the development of sinus technologies.
