FOR REFERRING PHYSICIANS

Nevada Sinus Relief was created by Dr. Ashley Sikand in order to focus on the diagnosis and treatment of sinus and nasal disorders.  He is currently a physician with Ear, Nose, and Throat Consultants of Nevada.  For the past several years, Dr. Sikand and his team have transformed his practice into a center of excellence to care for patients with sinus and nasal disorders.

  • Nasal polyps
  • Nasal Turbinate Hypertrophy
  • Nasal valve stenosis (nasal valve collapse)

WHY SCHEDULE WITH US?

The practice accepts most commercial  insurances and Medicare. Click here for a list of plans that we accept. For patient convenience, we can perform same day CT scans in the office during their appointment.  Therefore, they do not have to make multiple appointments for tests and results.   The practice is contracted with most insurances for CT scans.  However, some plans have a preferred outside facility that must be used.  If you have a question about a specific plan, please call (702) 805-1550.

SURGICAL PROCEDURES

Most patients can have their sinus procedure performed comfortably in the office without general anesthesia.  If a patient has an insurance that doesn't cover in office balloon sinus dilation or their sinus problems are deemed severe, surgery is scheduled in the operating room at an ambulatory surgery center.

Office based surgery is ideal for patients who have pulmonary issues, those who do not tolerate anesthesia well, or those patients who are not good candidates for general anesthesia because of other health conditions. Some of these procedures include:

  • Endoscopic sinus surgery with balloon dilation
  • Nasal Turbinate Reduction
  • Endoscopic Septoplasty
  • Polypectomy
  • ClariFix for chronic rhinitis
  • Latera implant for nasal valve stenosis

A Physician Referral Form can be given to your patient to contact us or you may fax it to (702) 780-6912 and we will contact the patient. Please include the patient's information and medical records including medication lists, sleep studies, and CT or MRI scans.  If you have any questions or if you'd like us to stop by your office with referral materials, please call our manager Samantha White at (702) 805-1550.
