WHY SCHEDULE WITH US?
Our goal is to customize a treatment plan for each individual patient using our in-office technology and results driven approach. Dr. Sikand and his team develop a specific treatment plan together with the patient so that he or she understands both the sinus problem and the solution.
For patient convenience, we can perform same day CT scans during their appointment. In majority of cases, patients do not have to make multiple appointments for tests or return for results. The practice is contracted with most insurances for CT scans. However, some plans have a preferred outside facility that must be used. If you have a question about a specific plan, please call (702) 805-1550.
Most patients can have their sinus procedure performed comfortably in the office without general anesthesia. Office based surgery is ideal for patients who have pulmonary issues, those who do not tolerate anesthesia well, or those patients who are not good candidates for general anesthesia because of other health conditions. Many patients we have treated preferred an office procedure versus going to the operating room because they were able to return to work sooner. Some of these procedures include:
- Balloon Sinus Dilation
- Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
- Nasal Polypectomy
- Nasal Turbinate Reduction
- Repair of nasal valve stenosis
If a patient has an insurance that doesn’t cover procedures in the office or they are not a good candidate for office based surgery, they will be scheduled in the operating room at an ambulatory surgery center.
For referring physicians one of our referral forms can be given to your patient to contact us or you may fax it to (702) 780-6912. Please include patient information and medical records.
