For Referring Physicians

we would be honored to care for your patients!

Nevada Sinus Relief is the personal brand for Dr. Ashley’s Sikand treatment of sinus and nasal disorders.  He is a physician and partner with Ear, Nose, and Throat Consultants of Nevada.  For the last several years, Dr. Sikand has focused his patient care on individuals suffering from sino-nasal disorders.

Patients needing treatment for an ear issue such as hearing loss, ear cleanings, and ear infections can be scheduled with his nurse practitioner, Zonia Fiesta, APRN-C.  She is also able to conduct evaluations on patients with sinus disorders, performing nasal endoscopies, and consulting with Dr. Sikand in planning medical and surgical care.

A Physician Referral Form can be given to your patient to call or you may fax it to (702) 780-6912.  Patients may also request an appointment by using the contact form on our website.

We see adults and pediatric patients over the age of 15 for the treatment of sino-nasal disorders such as:

  • Chronic and recurrent acute sinusitis
  • Deviated nasal septum
  • Nasal polyps
  • Nasal Turbinate Hypertrophy
  • Nosebleeds
  • Chronic Rhinitis and Post Nasal Drip

For patient convenience, we can perform same day CT scans in the office during their appointment.  Therefore, they do not have to make multiple appointments for tests and results.   The practice is contracted with most insurances for CT scans.  However, some plans have a preferred outside facility that must be used.  If you have a question about a specific plan, please call (702) 805-1550.

Health Plan of Nevada (HPN) patients must be treated following the protocol guidelines and have a CT scan done prior to their office visit.  HPN HMO and POS patients will need to call the practice’s appointment department at (702) 792-6700.

Most patients can have their sinus procedure performed comfortably in the office without general anesthesia.  If a patient has an insurance that doesn’t cover in office balloon sinus dilation or their sinus problems are deemed severe, surgery is scheduled in the operating room.

Office based surgery is ideal for patients who have pulmonary issues, those who do not tolerate anesthesia well, or those patients who are not good candidates for general anesthesia because of other health conditions. Some of these procedures include:

  • Endoscopic sinus surgery with balloon dilation
  • Nasal Turbinate Reduction
  • Nasal Polypectomy
  • Endoscopic Septoplasty
  • ClariFix for chronic rhinitis
  • Latera for nasal valve stenosis (nasal valve collapse)
  • Eustachian Tube Dilation
