Doctor was very professional and skilled and the entire office staff was amazing and made me feel comfortable

This is the second sinus surgery I have had Dr. Sikand perform. The first, was to correct my deviated septum and widen the sinus cavities to prevent reoccurring sinus infections. This was successful in alleviating my sinus infections from happening so often. Almost 9 years later, I started to struggle with reoccurring sinus infections and went to see Dr. Sikand. His PA Kathrina was extremely helpful and recommended balloon dilation surgery if the sinus infections kept persisting. The BDS was done in office and took about 30 minutes total with the anesthesia. I had very minimal downtime or pain, mostly just a bloody nose the first day post surgery. I was able to resume normal activity after two days. I just had my 4 week follow-up and everything has healed nicely & no infections or allergies especially with all this wind we’ve had lately. I cannot recommend this office and surgery enough to anyone that suffers from constant sinus infections.

I received surgery to straighten a deviated septum, reduce turbinates, grind down bone spurs and also got a sinus balloon procedure. It was quick, the pain was minimal and the recovery was easy.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Ashley Sikand at Nevada Sinus Relief. He participates in the VA’s Community Care program, which made the referral process straightforward and accessible for me as a veteran. From consultation through post-operative care, the entire experience was professional, efficient, and patient-centered. Last Friday, February 13th, 2025, I underwent balloon sinus dilation, a septoplasty, and a microdebrider-assisted inferior turbinoplasty. The surgery took approximately one hour and went very smoothly. Dr. Sikand thoroughly explained each procedure beforehand, outlining what would be done and what to expect during recovery. His confidence and clear communication immediately gave me reassurance. The following day, Saturday, February 14, 2026, I returned to his office where he removed the plastic nasal support devices. Almost immediately after they were removed, I could breathe easily — something I had not experienced in a long time. The improvement was noticeable right away. Today is Tuesday, and the results continue to exceed my expectations. I am sleeping significantly better with my CPAP, breathing normally throughout the day, and my sense of smell has improved dramatically. In just a few days, the procedures have already made a meaningful difference in my overall quality of life. Dr. Sikand and his staff were attentive, respectful, and highly organized throughout the entire process. For anyone struggling with chronic sinus issues — especially veterans eligible for VA Community Care — I highly recommend Dr. Sikand and Nevada Sinus Relief.
